Dorothy Ratusny, M.A., (C). OACCPP. (PhD Candidate) is a Certified Psychotherapist who specializes in Cognitive Therapy. Dorothy works with adolescents, teens, adults and couples in her Toronto-based private practice. She is a Consultant for numerous Corporations, facilitating performance-based strategies and solutions in order to improve workplace communication, trust, and strengthen relationships among both management and employees.

Dorothy has discussed the principles of Cognitive Therapy - currently one of the most widely researched and practiced models of psychotherapy in the world - in an eight-month speaking tour throughout the Toronto area Chapters stores. She has written several feature articles for the Globe and Mail, and writes a regular Q & A column for FAZE teen Magazine.

Dorothy has been a guest on CTV's Talk TV: The Chat Room, CFRB 1010AM (Toronto), AM640 (Toronto), CJAD 800 AM (Montreal), The Life Network's Canadian Living Television, Rogers' Daytime, The Discovery Health Network's, Health on the Line, City TV's Breakfast Television, Cable Pulse 24, TVO's Studio Two, TLN's Viva Domenica, and SLICE's Three Takes.

Dorothy was previously featured on The Life Network in the 13-week documentary series 'Love is Not Enough'. The series followed the unfolding drama of four couples as they worked to overcome unresolved issues and improve their relationships.

Most recently, she has co-hosted 'Womyn's Word' - a one-hour live phone-in radio show on CHRY 105.5 FM in Toronto, and featuring an accredited women's collective. The show celebrates empowerment and excellence as it explores compelling issues, specific to women. As co-host, Dorothy featured notable guests who served to positively impact society through their work and beliefs.
